Light Duty Equipment Operator

About the role

BrandSafway is seeking a Light Duty Equipment Operator to join their team in Hastings, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Operate light-duty equipment in a safe and productive manner in accordance with company and site safety policies
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Operate a variety of light-duty equipment, including but not limited to: Forklifts, Skid steers
• Load, unload, transport, and place materials, dumpsters, barriers, and other job site assets
• Assist with snow removal, gravel spreading, site grading, and other site support activities
• Assist with light rigging and material handling operations as directed
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operations around personnel, structures, and utilities
• Follow job site plans and directions from supervisors and site management
• Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational requirements

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification required
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, skid steers, and other light-duty equipment
• Knowledge of safe material handling and rigging practices
• Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
