Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Must follow dress code, wear assigned PPE and have superior work ethics.
• Move product within the warehouse and manufacturing areas operating the proper lift truck equipment.
• This position will require flexible working hours, including overtime, and also help cover shifts during vacation and call-offs.
• Able to communicate and work in a close team environment, not only with his/her department but also with any other department.
• Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Promptly report all safety malfunctions of the equipment.
• Perform daily lift truck and dock door inspections.
• Assist in keeping work areas in a clean orderly manner.
• Any other duties requested by supervisor.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications And Requirements

• 1 year lift truck experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required.
• Experience on pole hysters, stand/sit reach trucks and forklifts preferred.
• Prior use of handheld RF scanners while operating a lift truck preferred.
• Able to read and understand production orders, shipping documents and safety guidelines.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships.
