About the role

We are seeking a Lift Truck Operator to join our team at our Manufacturing Warehouse in Concord, NC. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to support production, warehousing, and shipping operations.
• Pack, palletize, and prepare products for shipment according to customer and quality specifications.
• Load, unload, and transport materials to support production and warehouse operations.
• Complete production, inventory, and shipping documentation accurately and on time.
• Promote a safe work environment by following company policies, procedures, and safe operating practices.
• Absorb and assist in training and mentoring new employees on equipment operation and work processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to palletize shipping cases and move materials.
• Transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Verify product identification, quantities, and packaging prior to shipment.
• Load and unload trailers while maintaining product integrity.
• Create and maintain accurate daily production and shipping reports.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Train and support new employees on standard operating procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to accurately complete production and shipping documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, nights, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, or barcode scanners.
• Previous experience training or mentoring employees.

Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting hourly wage of $27.73, day shift hours from 7:00pm-3:30am, and a range of benefits to support your well-being.
