LIFT TRUCK OPER - WALDO, AR

Pull green lumber and mark dimensions from the sawmill stacker and arrange it in the green yard.

• Supply reman and assist sawmill when needed.
• Load and down stack batch kilns and continuous kilns.
• Arrange down stacked lumber in the dry sheds.
• Arrange and maintain green yard.
• Assist kiln operators when needed.

Hourly Rate

$24.19 per hour.

Daily Job Duties

• Operate heavy forklift.
• Complete a 360° walk around and check out lift before operating lift.
• Pull lumber from the green stacker mark dimensions and arrange in green yard.
• Load batch and continuous kilns as straight as possible in a timely manner.
• Grease kiln carts before each pass-through kiln.
• Down stack dried lumber and arrange it in the dry shed in a timely manner.
• Fix any lumber packages that are busted or damaged.
• Pick up dropped boards and place in the proper bins before running it over.
• Assist kiln operators when needed.
• Load reman and support sawmill when needed.

Requirements

• Must complete forklift safety training course and obtain forklift certification.
