Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas, following proper handling procedures.
- Move pallets and other materials to designated storage locations using the forklift.
- Build customer orders / pallets from customer created pick tickets.
- Perform regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Sanitize incoming trailers during harvest
- Bin Washing
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and always following proper procedures.
