Lift Operator
About the Role
Join one of the fastest growing, most dynamic companies in the furniture industry. As a Lift Operator, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our inventory flow, ensuring that our products are handled with care and precision in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Shift Time: 6AM - 3:30PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Operate a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient material handling
- Use RF scanners to accurately pick and verify inventory items for order fulfillment
- Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips to ensure accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and order pickers, and report any malfunctions or safety issues
- Safely place inventory into racking locations using RF scanners, maintaining organization and accuracy
- Identify and process items on various paperwork, including customer orders, labels, manifest documents, packing lists, stock receipts, and bills of ladings
- Follow SOPs to ensure inventory quality and stay updated on procedure changes
- Perform routine checks to identify and address quality issues
- Meet productivity targets while managing resources effectively
- Document and report inventory discrepancies using the internal corrective action reporting (ICAR) process and ensure accurate documentation

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience operating an order picker forklift required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with WMS and Microsoft Excel
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
- Required to wear steel-toed boots/shoes at all times during work hours
- Willing and able to work overtime as needed
