The Lift Mechanic II supports the Lift Maintenance department to ensure ski lifts operate safely and efficiently.

Performs all pre-operational checks for lift clearance in the morning
Responsible for filling out pre-operational logs
Maintains monitoring of terminals and lines during operation
Shuts down lift at the end of the business day
Reports data to supervisor
Operates APU on all lifts
Level 2 entry code into control logic screens on detachable lifts
Operates computer on pils system for Lakeview lift
Performs various aspects of summer maintenance
Covers marginal duties as needed, including coordinating with other departments and providing guest information

Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid drivers' license
Knowledge and experience in lift systems
Knowledge of safety requirements and procedures
Basic understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems
Knowledge of pre-operational maintenance checklist
Training and experience in snowmobile and heavy equipment operation
Knowledge of harness and lanyard use in climbing
Basic alignment skills
Ability to change sheaves on all lifts
Knowledge of AC-DAC voltage
Excellent English communication skills
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize tasks

Knowledge of lift systems
Understanding of safety requirements and procedures
Basic electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems
Pre-operational maintenance skills
Training and experience in snowmobile and heavy equipment operation
