Position Summary

The Lift Attendant is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mountain chair lifts.

Role Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Able to work flexible schedules such as evenings and weekends.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Able to work outside and in inclement weather continually.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work with all kinds of people, sometimes in stressful situations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Aid guests on and off chairlifts.
  • Set up and take down perimeters and mazes at the beginning and the end of each day.
  • Maintain loading and unloading zones - shovel, chip, and rake.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests.
  • Be alert to possible problems, and notify your operator.
  • Provide information to riders about resort facilities and the local area.
  • Assist guests through the RFID gates, making sure everyone has valid tickets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills And Experience

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
