Position Summary
The Lift Attendant is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mountain chair lifts.
Role Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Able to work flexible schedules such as evenings and weekends.
- Must be reliable.
- Able to work outside and in inclement weather continually.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to work with all kinds of people, sometimes in stressful situations.
Position Responsibilities
- Aid guests on and off chairlifts.
- Set up and take down perimeters and mazes at the beginning and the end of each day.
- Maintain loading and unloading zones - shovel, chip, and rake.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests.
- Be alert to possible problems, and notify your operator.
- Provide information to riders about resort facilities and the local area.
- Assist guests through the RFID gates, making sure everyone has valid tickets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
