Program Overview and Benefits
Republic Airways offers an internship program designed to prepare students for the workforce. Interns receive mentorship, professional development opportunities, and direct exposure to the aviation industry. Additionally, housing stipends or mileage reimbursements are provided, along with competitive hourly pay.
Essential Duties
- Attend various outreach and recruitment events
- Provide quality tours of the facilities to prospective students and Republic Airways employees
- Gather data and other information as requested
- Present company-specific information to internal and external groups
- Cook up all intern onsite and offsite events and events for various groups throughout the Company
- Observe the interview process for various groups throughout Talent Acquisition
- Work with recruiters to determine final status of candidate's application
- Perform other duties and presentations as assigned or required
Education and Experience
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group
- Strong analytical skills
- Comfortable with public speaking
- Proficient communication and presentation skills
- Adequate event planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Qualifications
- Ability to work onsite at our Indianapolis location, unless otherwise directed by hiring manager
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors

- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Able to read and interpret technical, regulatory and contractual documentation
