About the role
The Providence Heart Institute at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka and this high-volume practice serves a large catchment area of greater than 150k population and is the only interventional cardiology practice in the region. You would be joining a very busy, high volume cardiology department that is highly collaborative. Working side by side with skilled interventional cardiologists, the cardiologists provide the highest level of quality cardiovascular care to the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert cardiovascular care to the community
- Collaborate with a team of skilled interventional cardiologists
- Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in a high-volume practice serving a large catchment area
- Enjoy an outstanding quality of life in the coastal community of Eureka
Requirements
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Experience in interventional cardiology preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of California
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
- Completion of an AOA-approved Cardiovascular Disease fellowship

Pay
The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, a CME allowance and other benefits offered by the medical group.
