LifeSpa Textured Hair Specialist

About the role

The Textured Hair Specialist provides various hair services and treatments that improve the guest’s overall sense of well-being and enhance the club experience. Services may include silk/flat iron press, wash and go, loc maintenance, braiding, haircuts, coloring, and highlighting, all aimed at exceeding guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized hair services and treatments that meet clients’ needs and expectations
• Educates clients on LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments to help them maintain their style
• Serves as an expert in hair analysis and maintenance regimens while staying current with style and technique trends
• Promotes all LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments
• Remains current on certifications and new industry trends
• Maintains workstations to salon standards

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a stylist performing services on textured hair (specifically wavy, curly, and coily textures)
• Ability to perform various types of hair services and treatments
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and commissions
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Cosmetology license in the state where work is performed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a stylist in a professional setting
• Knowledge of Salon Biz software
