Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri (CCSOMO) is looking for a compassionate and dependable individual to support our kitchen team in one of our residential facilities. As a Kitchen Support team member, you'll play a vital role in our daily food service operations—helping prepare and serve meals, keeping kitchen spaces clean and organized, and ensuring food safety practices are followed at all times. Your work helps create a safe, welcoming, and nourishing environment for the individuals we serve. What You’ll Do

• Aid in preparing and serving meals according to scheduled meal plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, food storage, and dining areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support inventory management by organizing and rotating stock.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and residents to provide respectful and efficient food services.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• This position requires a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Preferred: Previous kitchen and food services experience.
