Lifeguard - Year round

About the role

Genesis is hiring year-round weekday and weekend lifeguards for opening, midday, and closing shifts. This position ensures the day-to-day operations of the pool and provides a safe environment for swimming, learning, and play.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant watch of the water and pool area
• Enforce rules and procedures
• Keep pool and pool area clean and safe
• Use equipment as assigned
• Help record and maintain pool chemical readings
• Open and close the pool
• Quickly perform and demonstrate emergency procedures
• Maintain equipment, pool, and equipment storage area
• Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing Genesis Health Clubs
• Engage in actions that positively impact the member experience
• Respond to common member inquiries

Requirements

• Lifeguard Certification
• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to work well with others
• Must be at least 16 years of age
