About the Role
We are searching for Part-Time Direct Support Professionals to work in our residential program located in Richmond, Virginia. This position provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care and hygiene
- Supporting clients with therapies
- Driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and other outings
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license and maintain responsible driving behaviors
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients.
