Responsibilities
- Make 25-50 prospecting calls daily.
- Handle inbound/outbound calls and answer questions from clients interested in life insurance.
- Call potential clients based on acquired leads, client referrals, and web inquiries.
- Quote, prepare, and bind Life Insurance Policies.
- Achieve or exceed annual production quota of $75,000 in new life insurance sales.
- Determine clients’ needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments and determining the extent of present coverage and investments.
- Build and maintain a client base; keep existing clients informed about products and services through annual reviews on an ongoing basis to determine whether their financial needs have changed.
- Provide yearly reviews of existing clients and conduct changes including but not limited to processing changes of beneficiaries, changes of ownership, and upgrades in amount or type of policy.
- Work closely with underwriters and medical vendors to ensure that client applications are being processed in an effective and timely manner.
- Communicate underwriting and sales updates to sales management on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Florida 2-15 Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Agent License Required
- 2+ years’ experience working in the life insurance industry.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Availability to work 40 hours.
- Able to work remotely and exercise independent judgement.
- Able to manage tasks in compliance with company policies and operating procedures.
- Able to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong passion for serving clients with the mindset of going above and beyond during every client interaction.
