Life/Health Insurance Position - State Farm Agent Team Member

What You’ll Do

• Help customers understand their life insurance and financial services options.
• Use in-book marketing to identify opportunities within existing customer relationships.
• Reach out to current policyholders with a proactive, relationship-based sales approach.
• Schedule appointments, uncover customer needs, and recommend appropriate products.
• Support life sales efforts through referrals, follow-up, cross-selling, and consistent customer contact.
• Build trust through clear communication, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help people.
• Work closely with the agency team to support growth and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Requirements

• Active Life license in Illinois is required.
• Previous life insurance experience is necessary.
• Strong sales ability and confidence in discussing life and financial products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional presence.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A team-first mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

About the Role

We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.

Our office is located in two towns: Niles & North side of Chicago.

We currently have 17 team members at our agency.

We have 144 years of combined insurance experience in our office.

We have received awards including: President's Club, Chairman's Circle, Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, Million Dollar Round Table, Senior Vice President's Club, and Bronze Tablet.
