The Life Enrichment Director is essential to the satisfaction of our residents and to our mission of helping people Live Life to its Fullest. Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly programming for our Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care
  • Include residents and/or families in planning and participation in programs whenever possible
  • Ensure all Life Enrichment staff are consistently educated and trained through new employee training, ongoing education, and professional development
  • Inform residents of daily activities through various mechanisms
  • Plan, coordinate, and assist with tasteful decoration of the community for special events and holidays
  • Consult with and supervise Life Enrichment team members
  • Coordinate transportation needs related to various events and activities with the Transportation team
  • Drive community vehicles safely to and from destinations according to the activity schedule as necessary
  • Assist with the development of the departmental budget and monitor monthly expenses as budgeted
  • Maintain professional certifications, including but not limited to Personal Training Certification, CPR, and First Aid

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Wellness and Activities programming in a senior living community, including designing and facilitating all aspects of a comprehensive program
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience leading teams
  • Must pass a drug screen and criminal history check at the time of hire
