Life Enrichment Director

About the role

The Life Enrichment Director at Country Charm is responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing activities for a seven-day week calendar. They also identify special needs of each resident and create plans to accommodate those needs. The director involves residents in planning recreation objectives and goals, integrates them with the community through facility activities and outings, and creates a strong positive image and good relationships within the community.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and implements activities for a seven-day week calendar.
• Identifies the special needs of each resident and creates a plan to accommodate those needs.
• Involves the resident in planning recreation objectives and goals for the resident.
• Integrates resident with the communality through facility activities and outings.
• Creates a strong positive image and establishes good relationships within the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field, certification as an Activity Professional preferred.
• Two years activities management experience preferred.

Qualifications
