About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient care in a high-pressure environment, providing compassionate and effective care to patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the patient care unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
Skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
