Life Enrichment Director

Job Summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to design and lead meaningful programs that enhance the daily lives of residents.

About the Role

This leadership role is responsible for developing experiences that support residents' physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being. The ideal candidate will take ownership of creating vibrant community life, act with integrity in every interaction, remain focused on resident engagement, and believe in the importance of the culture.

Responsibilities

• Create programming that directly enhances quality of life
• Lead, mentor, and schedule life enrichment associates
• Plan and facilitate activities, events, outings, and community partnerships
• Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement outcomes
• Manage department budget and resources responsibly
• Ensure programs comply with state regulations and company standards
• Promote a person-centered approach to engagement
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology, Recreational Therapy, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of leadership experience (senior living or healthcare preferred)
• Proven ability to design and implement engaging programming
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Working knowledge of state regulations related to life enrichment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software systems
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Genuine passion for improving the lives of senior adults

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living or healthcare preferred
• Ability to develop and implement engaging programming
