Life Enrichment Director
About the role
Bridges by EPOCH at Westford is now hiring a Life Enrichment Director (Activities Director) Full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to join our activities programming department and become a leader in our community.
Responsibilities
- Organizes, plans, facilitates, and directs the overall operations of the Programming and Activities Department.
- Promotes resident participation through regularly scheduled programs and guest speakers.
- Hires, coordinates, and supervises staff and frequently interacts with the Sales and Marketing team.
- Creates, publishes, and implements the monthly resident Life Enrichment Calendar.
- Collaborates across departments to include Marketing/Sales and Dining.
- Coordinates transportation of residents to outside events and appointments.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Assisted Living.
- Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Experience in program development in senior living community or similar setting.
- Outstanding customer service.
- Flexible schedule required, including evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.
- Some experience in Senior Living preferred.
- College degree or equivalent life experience required.
- Strong computer skills required.
