Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and implement activities for a seven-day weekly calendar based on resident preferences.
• Identify the special needs of each resident and create a plan to accommodate those needs.
• Involve residents in planning recreation objectives and goals.
• Integrate residents with the community through facility activities and outings.
• Create a strong positive image and establish good relationships within the community, including press relations, promotional activities, scrapbooks, and facility displays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field.
• Certification as an Activity Professional preferred.
• Two years of activities management experience preferred.
