Life Enrichment Coordinator

About the role

Touchmark at Coffee Creek is a full‑service retirement community that enriches the lives of residents and their families through five‑star hospitality, services, and amenities. As a Life Enrichment Coordinator you will assist in planning, creating, and implementing an activities program that meets the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents. You will have daily opportunities to encourage and motivate others and to be a positive presence for residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and implement a comprehensive activities program for residents.
• Assist with and coordinate activities both on and off campus, including holiday and birthday celebrations, social events, community outings, and exercise programs.
• Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities.
• Serve as a positive presence for residents, families, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with a social or recreational activities program in a health‑care setting; experience with residents living with dementia is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team to arrange, organize, and assist with activities.
• Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality regarding resident status and medical history.
• Maintain composure and tact when interacting with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.
