Life Enrichment Coordinator

Scope of Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, and evaluate the activity programs of the facility
• Schedule bus trips including regular local shopping and other trips, order tickets for theater, concerts, museums, and work with the Life and Leisure Manager regarding budget
• Supervise resident volunteers at the R Café, manage the food inventory, order and shop for items. Knowledge of kosher items is important.
• Assist the Life and Leisure Manager with programs, setups, and engaging vendors
• Aid new residents in their transition to independent living. Familiarize them with the monthly calendar, bus trips, café, laundry machines
• Conduct monthly meetings with the activities committee regarding upcoming museums, theater, and other events of interest
• Develop, administer, and coordinate department policies and procedures
• Create a comprehensive activity program that engages residents emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually
• Perform administrative tasks such as completing forms, reports, and submitting as required
