Life Enrichment Coordinator

About the role

As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life of residents at Bethany Meadows in Brandon, SD. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, organize, and facilitate a wide range of activities and programs that promote social, emotional, and physical well-being among residents. You'll work closely with residents, their families, and other staff members to create a vibrant and engaging environment. This is a full-time position working 8am–5pm.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm social atmosphere in the nursing facility.
• Maintain records of participation and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
• Foster a sense of community and encourage social interaction among participants.
• Plan entertainment and arrange supplies and transportation for activities.
• Maintain records and facilitate group and individual engagements.
• Build community relationships in line with the Bethany mission.

Qualifications

• Motivated with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working with older adults.
• Qualified in activities coordination or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent computer skills.
