Life Enrichment Assistant (On-Call)
Essential Job Functions
- Assists the Director of Resident Services in planning, organizing, and facilitating programs of the Wellness (WellPath) Program.
- Supports the creation of programs that reflect resident preferences, strengths, and life stories, adapting activities to meet varying abilities and ensuring all residents can participate with dignity and success.
- Contributes to resident plans of care by documenting individual interests, participation, and engagement patterns to support personalized, person-directed programming.
- Accurately documents resident attendance and engagement in daily programs, ensuring records inform future planning and uphold Eskaton’s standards for quality and continuity of care.
- Sets up, operates, and maintains program equipment and technology to enhance engagement and ensure smooth, safe operation of activities and events.
- Collaborates with volunteers, family members, and fellow team members to ensure Life Enrichment programs run smoothly and reflect Eskaton’s Welcoming and Empowerment values through inclusion and teamwork.

Qualifications
- Education: High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D.
- Training and Experience: Previous experience working with the elderly in a recreational setting preferred. Knowledge of Title XXII and OBRA preferred. Understanding of leading an activity is beneficial.
Compensation
Starting pay ranges from $19.40 per hour - $24.44 per hour. Factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, job-related skills, internal equity, and market considerations may influence base pay.

X Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.
Physical Requirements
The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen. All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment.
