Life Enrichment Assistant - Memory Care

About the role

Join us as a Life Enrichment Assistant at the Village at Inverness, where you'll inspire joy, create meaningful moments, and make every day matter for residents in our Memory Care Assisted Living community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead meaningful recreational and life enrichment activities
• Build genuine relationships with residents and encourage participation
• Support person-centered memory care using Positive Approach to Care (PAC), Teepa Snow, and Eden Alternative principles
• Assist with group outings, celebrations, seasonal events, and intergenerational programs
• Help assess residents' interests and individualize activities to meet their needs
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to enhance quality of life
• Maintain activity documentation and attendance records
• Transport residents to activities and outings as needed
• Create an engaging, welcoming, and vibrant community atmosphere

Qualifications

• Experience in memory care, life enrichment, or senior living is highly preferred
