Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of the community
• Facilitate planned activities for both assisted living and independent living residents, including exercise classes, sing-alongs, brain power activities, sports, art classes, and reading
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement to evaluate facility activities and resident progress
• Involve residents and their families in planning activity programs when possible

Requirements

• Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure, and be a self-starter
• Food Handlers Permit required
• Able to move at least 50 pounds, including tables and chairs on a regular basis
