About the role
As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality of life for residents in senior living communities through engaging activities and social events. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to plan and implement various programs that promote wellness and community engagement.Responsibilities
- Plan and execute weekly activity schedules based on resident interests and needs.
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of community events.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Document activities and events for reporting and future planning.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of experience working with seniors or in a similar field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
