About the role

Acts is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support the planning and implementation of programs and events that provide residents with an Acts Signature Experience (ASE), focusing on wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Life Enrichment Coordinator in organizing and executing programs and events that enhance residents' quality of life.
  • Ensure that all residents, regardless of cognitive and functional levels, have opportunities for meaningful engagement.
  • Implement programs informed by Montessori principles of resident empowerment and engagement, tailored to each resident's personal history and preferences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of activities/recreation experience.
  • Current or willing to obtain Dementia engagement certification within one year of employment.
  • Current or eligible for certification in CPR.
