Life Enrichment Aide Swing

About the role

Through substance use and mental health services, education, and awareness we help people recover from addiction as they embrace their voice, discover their journey, and engage their community.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational support to the residential facility and provides client-support to clinical staff.
• Cooperates with other shift personnel to ensure smooth operation of facility and ensures safety of residents and security of building during shift.
• Makes sure clients self-administer medications correctly and accurately documents each transaction.
• Fulfills medical orders regarding client medication.
• Offers trauma-informed care to clients and performs crisis intervention, conflict resolution when necessary.
• Reports all problems to Supervisor/Lead Enrichment Aide.
• Aids staff members to deliver services, facilitates assigned group activities (life skills, exercise, sports, etc.), completes referrals to appropriate social service agencies when needed, and documents group activities as directed.
• Ensures clients are awake and watchful throughout the shift.
• Conducts checks on clients during normal day hours and when clients are sleeping by completing client roster periodic checklists to verify clients' whereabouts.
• Wakes up clients at appropriate times as designated and ensures they are dressed, have eaten, and completed clean-up and other duties.
• Carries out transportation services to participants or as assigned by immediate supervisor.
• Completes other assignments to meet the goals and objectives of Aliviane Inc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• One year experience in drug abuse treatment setting.
• Proficient in computer skills including knowledge of a word processing program and a spreadsheet program.
