Life Enrichment Activity Aide

About the role

Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center is looking for a caring and dependable Life Enrichment Activity Aide to help keep residents active, engaged, and connected. In this role, you will assist with activities, events, and programs that bring enjoyment and improve quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with group and individual resident activities.
• Help plan and organize special events and activity programs.
• Prepare and post monthly activity calendars.
• Complete activity documentation and records.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities.
• Work with the Life Enrichment team to provide meaningful programs.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Report concerns, incidents, or suspected abuse according to policy.

Qualifications

• Friendly, caring, and dependable.
• Enjoy working with older adults.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Able to communicate clearly in English.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and stay active throughout the day.
• Able to push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a Christian environment, including devotions, prayer, and Bible-based activities.

Pay

$15.30 - $16.50 per hour

Schedule

Full-Time, Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
