Life Actuary

For our client, we are seeking a Life Actuary to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. In this remote role, you will support actuarial work that informs pricing, valuation, and risk management decisions across the business. You will apply advanced modeling expertise to generate insights, improve model performance, and help leaders understand the financial implications of complex actuarial analyses. This position also partners with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate regulations, develop reports, and recommend practical solutions that strengthen decision-making. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $127,310 – $243,340 annually Responsibilities Perform complex actuarial modeling for pricing, valuation, and risk management. Review laws and regulations for compliance and recommend improvements. Run models, generate reports, and present detailed analyses to leadership. Make recommendations for model adjustments and improvements. Lead or participate in moderately complex projects across actuarial areas. Develop exhibits and reports to clarify proposals and findings for stakeholders. Identify and recommend solutions to business problems independently. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years) in lieu of degree. 4 years of relevant actuarial or analytical experience with FSA; or 8 years with ASA. Experience with actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and risk management. Ability to communicate complex actuarial analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences. 5+ years of Moody's AXIS experience is preferred.
