About the role
The Lien Auditor at Wilshire Law Firm is a key position that ensures financial accuracy and compliance within the firm. This role is crucial for identifying discrepancies in undisputed funds and supporting the firm's mission of excellence and justice.
Responsibilities
- Review and audit case files to determine lien status, trust balances, and undisputed funds
- Identify, flag, and communicate discrepancies to the Lien team
- Track and report audit findings with accuracy and consistency
- Maintain detailed audit notes and documentation within the case management system
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews
- Ensure deadlines related to lien resolution and settlement disbursements are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve lien workflows and reduce delays
- Monitor and review IOLTA trust account activity for accuracy and compliance
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage and reprioritize multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce and tools preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred (not required)
Qualifications
