Lidar Technician I (Entry Level)

Key Responsibilities

• Daily processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to aerial mapping products
• Classification of LiDAR point clouds
• Compilation of mapping features from LiDAR point clouds
• Compilation of mapping features from orthophotography
• Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent computer and technical skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Electric Transmission experience preferred
  • Microstation and TerraSolid experience is highly preferred
  • Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with any of the following is preferred: CAD, GIS, Spreadsheets, Orthophotography, LiDAR Point Clouds, LiDAR Classification, Mapping from LiDAR or Imagery
