Licensing and Service Delivery Manager

Requirements of the role

• Leading the delivery of the statutory train driving licence service, ensuring train driving licences are issued and renewed accurately, efficiently and in line with legal requirements.
• Acting as the main point of contact for train operators and colleagues, providing expert advice and resolving service delivery issues.
• Driving continuous improvements to the Train Driving Licences Portal and related processes, guidance and systems, working closely with operators and external suppliers to deliver a more efficient and user-focused service.
• Supporting the Head of Team on wider train driving licence activities, including potential legislative reform, helping to shape future policy and regulatory requirements.
