About the role

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Licensed Vocational Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post‑hospitalization, and accessing community resources.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards.
• One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience preferred (not required).
