About the Role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides nursing care as directed by an RN, including gathering and reporting patient data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner. Responsibilities align with PAM Health’s policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities

- Gather and report patient data
- Carry out physician orders
- Perform therapeutic procedures in accordance with patient needs
- Adhere to PAM Health’s policies, procedures, and guidelines
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides (or compact licensure if applicable)
- Current BLS certification (AHA-approved, obtained within 90 days of employment)
- IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
