Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit
• Gather and report data
• Carry out orders
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
• Current BLS certification (AHA approved, within 90 days of employment)
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
