Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - FT Night | Houston Heights

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
• Gather and report patient data.
• Carry out physician and RN orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age‑ and population‑appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the facility resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
• Current BLS certification (AHA approved) required; must be obtained within 90 days of employment if not already held.
• Current IV certification required within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
• One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred (not required).
