Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by a Registered Nurse on the nursing unit
• Gather and report patient data
• Carry out physician and RN orders
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age‑ and population‑appropriate manner, following PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state where the facility is located, or compact licensure if the state participates
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; must be AHA‑approved within 90 days of employment
• Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations
• One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred (not required)
