Responsibilities
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Have current BLS certification required, with AHA approval within 90 days of employment
- Have current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations
Qualifications
One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
