Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) FT Day/Night

About the role

At ContinueCARE Hospital, we take pride in the care we provide for patients with an average length of stay of 25 days in a variety of specialty programs. Our staff enjoy our small‑hospital environment inside of a large acute‑care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric.
• Direct and supervise all patient care during the shift.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care.
• Meet established standards of nursing practice.
• Supervise and delegate patient‑care tasks to CNAs and other team members.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
• Consider patients' age appropriately when performing tasks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
• Unrestricted LVN license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in an acute‑care hospital (required).
