Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Emergency Services
Position Summary
The LVN in the Emergency Services department is responsible for providing patient care in a safe and effective manner. Additional responsibilities include directing the Emergency Department Technician activity, synthesizing patient information, performing focused assessments of patients, reviewing discharge instructions, implementing treatment plan/MD orders, and documenting and evaluating per unit standards. Collaboration between healthcare team members and integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.
Requirements
- One year experience working as an LVN in an acute care hospital or emergency department setting.
- Electronic Medical Record experience preferred.
- Licensed Vocational Nurse Certification required.
- Intravenous Therapy and Blood Withdrawal (IVBW) Certification required.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Card required.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Card required.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Card required.
Pay
Pay Range: $32.19/hr to $46.68/hr
Schedule
Shift: Evenings (12hr shifts)
