Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Behavioral Health
About the role
The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family. This position performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA Regulations and triage process in the ER setting.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patient needs and develops care plans accordingly
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitors patient vital signs and reports changes
- Provides basic hygiene and comfort measures
- Documents patient care activities accurately and timely
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Participates in ongoing professional development and competency assessments
Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience in acute care settings preferred

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $34.00 to $39.50.
Schedule
This position works Full Time Evenings.
