About the role
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to the residents
- Serve as a role model for professional conduct and behavior
- Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned unit
- Assist with resident care plans and medication administration
- Participate in shift handovers and report resident conditions to the nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to long-term care
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Nurse License
- Valid CPR Certification
- I.V. Certification preferred
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
