About the role

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned unit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to the residents.
  • Serve as a role model for professional behavior and conduct.
  • Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned unit.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Nurse License.
  • Valid CPR Certification.
  • I.V. Certification preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
