About the Role
As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes. You will be responsible for administering medications, performing medical procedures, assisting with daily activities, and educating patients and their families on health management and rehabilitation techniques.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications as prescribed by a physician
- Performing medical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and suctioning
- Assisting patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Educating patients and their families on health management and rehabilitation techniques
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in home health care or related field preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for providing compassionate care
- Knowledge of home health care procedures
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
