Responsibilities
- Act as a member of the Treatment Team by providing nursing experience to support individual treatment planning objectives and goals.
- Review and sign off on Health Questionnaires and upload them into our Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Review all incoming medications and ensure clients have required clearances.
- Ensure PPD/TB testing for all clients is completed in a timely manner and records are maintained.
- Assist the physician or physician’s assistant during physical exams.
- Conduct rounds and provide nursing supervision in Withdrawal Management, documenting in the client record.
- Instruct staff in nursing/medical conditions necessary to control a medical/psychiatric emergency.
- Ensure all withdrawal management clients are checked in the CURES database and upload documents into our EHR.
- Coordinate and provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services.
- Perform duties assigned by the physician or physician’s assistant.
- Provide quality service to clients as required by Cedar House, State, and County mandates.
- Maintain timely and reliable attendance.
- Perform life-saving measures when needed to protect the lives of Cedar House clients and employees.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience working with chemically dependent adults.
- PPD/TB Injection Experience.
- Maintain an active LVN or RN license.
- Completed twelve years of education or have a GED.
- Complete continuing education and trainings as required by Cedar House, County, and State mandates.
- Maintain current CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
Skills
- Understanding of the nature of alcohol/drug addiction and its recovery process.
- Good knowledge of nursing functions and operations related to addiction treatment.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Move around inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, and medical supplies.
- Operate a computer and other productivity machinery.
- Climb ladders or equipment to access files or medical supplies.
- Communicate information and ideas clearly.
- Observe details at close range.
- Occasionally move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
Working Environment
- Not exposed to weather conditions.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
Pay
$30.00 - $37.00 per hour.
