Licensed Vocational Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice, adhering to current standards, licensure, and facility policies.
• Assess patients' health needs and assist in developing and implementing nursing care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care.
• Follow practical nursing principles, procedures, and techniques under supervision.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support healthcare team objectives.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program.
• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the relevant state.
• At least one year of professional nursing experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association®.
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Physical & Emergency Response Demands

• Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, including performing CPR and assisting during evacuations.
